Careers at Upstate: We’re helping in getting the word out about a new position at Upstate created by Dr. Sharon Brangman to increase diversity in our aging research programs. “Alzheimer’s disease is twice as common in African Americans and yet there are very few of us participating in clinical research programs that could provide benefit. This new position would help create community relationships that we hope over time will make older adults more comfortable with the idea of participating.,” Dr. Brangman said.
