Syracuse NAACP Speaks Out Against Possible U.S. Attorney Appointment in interview with WRVO Radio
Syracuse NAACP Speaks Out WRVO Radio – The Syracuse chapter of the NAACP has concerns about the potential appointment of Onondaga County Comptroller Bob Antonacci as a U.S attorney. Much of the concern from the NAACP toes back almost two years, according to chapter President Linda Brown-Robinson. That’s when three minority-owned contractors that work with Onondaga County sued Antonacci, accusing him of harassment. That lawsuit is still in the courts, and Antonacci is attempting to get it thrown out.

NAACP of Syracuse General Membership Meeting February 23rd
The next general membership meeting will be Thursday, February 23rd at 5:30pm at the Educational Opportunity Center at 100 New Street in Syracuse. The guest speaker will be Susan Hunter from the Center for Community Alternatives. Her presentation is entitled, Locked in the System: When Prison Does Not Reform.
